Start Early

We believe that the best results come from a blank canvas and that it's never too early to bring in your designer. Having your interior designer at the table with your architect and contractor from the very beginning is the surest and safest route to building the best result. Brittney has partnered with many talented and dedicated architects and builders over the years and is comfortable with either complimenting an existing team or helping you select the perfect one for your project.

Consult

Brittney will meet with you at your home or project site to assess the details of the project. If your project is a full home renovation or new build, we will also meet with the architectural team and/or builder. At this point the design direction and project parameters are discussed. We talk with you and your family about the activities and mood you want your home to have so that we can create the environment that best suits your lifestyle. Based on the initial consultation, a detailed design agreement outlining the scope of services is prepared. The design agreement also incudes the design fees for the project.

Design

Throughout your project, BNID acts as a liaison between you, your architect, and your contractor. We work closely with you during every phase, providing education about the design process and guidance through decisions so that you can make intelligent choices for your home. During the design phase, we create a custom design plan for your home including:

• Space Planning and Interior Architectural Detailing

• Stone and Tile Design

• Cabinetry Design and Drawings

• Fine Furniture Design and Resourcing

• Window Covering and Bedding Design

• Art and Accessorizing

• Comprehensive Purchasing and Installation for Projects

Implement

Once you have approved the design, materials, and furnishings, we will communicate with your contractors regarding clarification of plans, specifications, and designs. When the construction phase is complete, we then coordinate the installation of furnishings, window treatments, art, and accessories. Throughout the course of our projects, we manage the process to ensure the most efficient timeline possible.
